BOTT XR1 FAQ

Which Buell models can be used as a donor bike to build a BOTT XR1?

The kit has been designed to use a Buell XB as a donor bike. The ideal is to use a Buell model with long swingarm: Buell XB12SS, Buell XB12STT and Buell Ulysses. If you want to use a short swingarm Buell XB as a donor bike, the easiest way to do it is to buy a long swingarm with its corresponding shock and belt and use it instead of the short one.

The Buell XB12SS has the ideal shock and fork lengths to use with the BOTT XR1 kit.

Is the BOTT XR1 road legal?

The bike has been designed using homologated components (headlighs, signal lights, brake light, license plate support, etc). Each country has its own laws and requirements and if the purchaser wants to register his BOTT XR1 to be street legal, he should study the best procedure to do it in his country.

How difficult is it to assembly a BOTT XR1 using the kit?

This kit has been designed to be a bolt on kit. This means that you don’t need to cut or weld anything.
The kit uses the original Buell wiring loom, so it is not necessary to use a custom one.
We provide an assembly manual with each kit, and each customer has full technical support, this means that you can ask us each time that you have a doubt.
