WHY TA·KE?
In Japanese, TAKE means BAMBOO, which is a light, strong, durable, and flexible material. Those factors describe in a precise way the main characteristics of the TA·KE handlebar.
ENGINEERING AT ITS BEST
The TA·KE handlebar has been designed using the latest software technology, to obtain the best combination of maximum resistance and minimum weight. With just 360 grams, the TA·KE is an ultralight, hollow handlebar.
The composite layers arrangement has been studied, simulated, and tested multiple times, with the intention of creating an elastic handlebar that absorbs energy, dampening vibrations to achieve a great and more relaxed riding.
To achieve maximum strength, the TA·KE handlebar has a unique design with a 35 mm diameter central clamping area.
This big diameter allows to stack more composite layers in the central area, where they are more needed, providing at the same time a super-powerful look that does not go unnoticed.
DESIGN AND AESTHETICS
The focus of the design has been to create a uniform shape connecting the different diameters in a seamless way so the light can reflect continuously, creating a high-quality appearance.
RESISTENT AND DURABLE
The TA·KE handlebar has been relentlessly tested in a fatigue test bench, surpassing with no problem the 1 million cycles barrier.
Several layers of Kevlar are combined with the carbon fiber, this provides the necessary strength against impacts.
3 POINTS CLAMPING BRACKETS
Bottpower has developed its own 3 bolts brackets. This solution is more stable and offers a better grip than a 2 bolts bracket, while it is also more stable and lighter than a 4 bolts bracket.
Each bracket includes one M8 bolt and 2 M6 bolts, all made in Grade V Titanium.
