BOTT 1000 Morlaco with Gulf colors

Since we said that we wanted to work again in our Morlaco project, taking it as a “side project”, we made some progress with the real bike (we will talk about it in a few weeks).

Meanwhile, in our free time we also have refined a little bit the CAD bike. The design is very similar to the previous one, the idea is the same but now the shapes of the airbox, fueltank and seat/tail are a little bit more smooth and organic.

We also spent some time playing with different paint schemes. Because we wanted the frame to be orange (which is the main Bottpower color), we thought about creating a version using the racing Gulf colors. This is the result (click on the image to see it large).

The paint scheme is based on the Ford GT40 and Porsche 917 race cars from the late sixties and early seventies.

We will keep playing with other paint schemes, although by the moment this is our favorite one. What do you think, do you like it?
